This product is specially designed for measuring moisture in honey. At the same time, the Brix value of the syrup with high sugar content can be measured. The accuracy of the product is much higher than similar products on the market. And corrected the measurement error of the product. The product carries a stable, calibrated liquid with a special configuration. The calibration liquid is a non-toxic and environmentally friendly solution.
The refractometer is an optical precision instrument that determines the density of a liquid by means of the index of refraction.
This refractometer is particularly suitable for measuring the sugar content of honey, jam, syrup, etc. The measuring instrument is precise and simple in use: drop a few drops of the liquid onto the prism and the density is directly readable.

Resolution: 0.2% Brix, 0.2% water

Easy to use: Place 2 drops of the sample on the main prism, close the plate and look through the viewing window to read the Brix value;
After applying the sample to the prism, the special optics of the refractometer generate opposing light-dark fields. The border line between the two fields indicates the sugar content of the sample.

Calibration:This product is equipped with a dedicated calibration fluid. Do not calibrate this refractometer with water.

• Measruing Range: Brix (sugar): 58-90%, Resolution: Brix (sugar): 0.2%, 10-32% water with 0.2% reading
• Easy to use. Supports two calibration modes: The upper calibration line with 78.8% Brix is suitable for clove oil calibration solution and requires an additional standard test block: The lower calibration line consists of 65% Brix, a colorless and non-toxic calibration solution with a slight smell of clove oil. Do not need a test block, is more convenient and accurate.
